Dr. Andrew Chan Kieng Hock has been the Consultant Oral Surgeon at Klinik Pergigian Ooi Dan Rakan since April 2004, with over 30 years of clinical experience. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University Malaya in 1996, and went on to complete a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FDSRCS) in 2000.

His areas of interest include dental implantology, pre-prosthetic surgery, dento-alveolar and gum surgery, care for medically-compromised patients, premalignant lesions, and oro-facial pain management, developed through his earlier training as a Surgical Trainee at University Malaya Medical Centre and as Consultant Oral Surgeon at Regal Dental Surgery, Petaling Jaya, where he was also a Visiting Consultant Oral Surgeon at Assunta Hospital.

Implant dentistry has been a particular focus for over 30 years, with more than 1,000 implant cases completed to date, several for patients who travel from outside Malaysia specifically for his expertise. Most of his implant patients need just one to three implants rather than a full-mouth case, and despite his depth of experience, he keeps his implant fees accessible.

Alongside his work at Klinik Pergigian Ooi Dan Rakan, Dr. Chan is a Visiting Consultant Oral Surgeon at Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre and a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Klinik Pergigian Chan & Yang in Subang Jaya. He is a member of the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA), the Malaysian Private Dental Practitioner's Association (MPDPA), and the Malaysian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Society (MAOMS), and has served on the Editorial Advisory Board for HealthToday Magazine since 2021.
